Manchester is the largest city in New Hampshire and with over 200,000 people (in the 2010 census) is tenth largest city in New England. The city was named by merchant and inventor Samuel Blodget as an industrial center. The Merrimack river passes through town and was a major route of transportation for the Historic Amoskeag textile mills along the eastern bank.
This page consists of activities in the Manchester area which includes restaurants and attractions in surrounding cities and towns.

Restaurants, Bars = Blue
Attractions = Red
I occasionally have the opportunity to travel across the United States. As I visit each location I search the internet for local places to visit, things to do, and unique local restaurants. My search results are varied and usually end up on a travel website trying to sell me goods or services that I don't necessarily want or need. Since I struggle to find a good travel blog, I decided to compile my own based on personal experiences and share those thoughts with you. Enjoy!
Note:
Click on the tab below for an interactive map of venues visited in each location. Each city visited offers many more things to do, places to visit and dining options than I have the ability to visit. The descriptions and accounts in this blog are based on my own thoughts, experiences and opinion. If there are any great places that I've missed and aren't described or listed in each of these locations please shoot me a note and I'll add them to the 'wish list' for my hopeful return.
