Description: Fratello's is a casual Italian-American restaurant considered one of the best dining locations in Manchester. The renovated historic mill building is 16,000 square feet containing the restaurant and banquet facility which is popular for wedding receptions, corporate events and special occasions. Fratello's has locations in three New Hampshire cities; Laconia, Nashua and in Manchester. They are owned by the same family as the Homestead Restaurant in Merrimack. Fratello's offers two floors of dining both indoors and out. If' it's a nice evening I would recommend dining al fresco or if you're in the mood for a more social environment, the upstairs contains a bar and and small entertainment area where a guitarist performs.
I've had the opportunity to dine at Fratello's on several occasions and have never encountered a bad meal. The Calimari appetizer in a custom cherry pepper sauce is excellent and the Baked Stuffed Haddock melts in your mouth. I would also recommend any of their wood fired pizzas or of you're in the mood for pasta the Chicken Carbonara is outstanding.
Fratello's doesn't accept reservations and can get busy during prime hours. They do accept call ahead for seating but be prepared for a wait. Parking can be a challenge as the lot is difficult to access and spaces are small.

I occasionally have the opportunity to travel across the United States. As I visit each location I search the internet for local places to visit, things to do, and unique local restaurants. My search results are varied and usually end up on a travel website trying to sell me goods or services that I don't necessarily want or need. Since I struggle to find a good travel blog, I decided to compile my own based on personal experiences and share those thoughts with you. Enjoy!
Note:
Click on the tab below for an interactive map of venues visited in each location. Each city visited offers many more things to do, places to visit and dining options than I have the ability to visit. The descriptions and accounts in this blog are based on my own thoughts, experiences and opinion. If there are any great places that I've missed and aren't described or listed in each of these locations please shoot me a note and I'll add them to the 'wish list' for my hopeful return.
